Our drink
The Coastguard’s bar and cellar have a deservedly high reputation. There are regularly changing ales and beers, and Nigel works hard to ensure that the wide selection works both in its own right and as an accompaniment to the dishes on the menu.
Nigel’s taste in beer and wine is renowned and, being a Scot, his knowledge of whisky should never be questioned. Come and try local Kentish ales or beer from just across The Channel. You can enjoy wines from all over the world or sample a vintage from just up the road.
The bar is open everyday from 11am until 11pm.
On Christmas Day the bar only will be open from 12pm until 3pm.
