This September, The Coastguard Pub & Restaurant in St Margaret’s Bay will be hosting its first annual historical food festival. The festival will celebrate food and drink that are being produced using traditional methods. We’re inviting artisan producers from both the UK and France to come and get involved. Do you know anyone who’s been making cheese using an ancient recipe? Brewing beer in a traditional fashion? Whoever you are or whatever you do, if you’d like to get involved then get in touch with us down at The Coastguard. We’d particularly love to hear from you if you remember the days of the “festival of the sea” which used to be held in St Margaret’s Bay way back when.
